In 1989, I founded RPM Dance, Inc., (Revolutions Per Minute). I was a pioneer in fusing traditional dance technique with club dance. My goal was to start a new dance revolution. Over my career, I studied with many excellent Central Florida teachers including: Paula K. Gale, Russell Sultzbach, Ellie Potts Barrett and Beatrix Niki Lin kimonoAldana. In addition, I was extremely involved with the Florida Dance Festival for several years in both Tampa and Miami. I performed at the Orlando Museum of Art, Orlando City Hall, Tupperware Performing Arts Center, Walt Disney World Amphitheater and Sea World. I produced over 100 shows at prominent art festivals, nightclubs, and electronic music concerts throughout Florida. My international travels include: Germany, Austria, England, Holland, Czech Republic, China and Taiwan, where I performed, taught and researched dance. National magazines, such as Dancer and Dance Spirit have featured RPM Dance.

In 2002, I visited my native country of Taiwan, where I met my Birth Mother and was inspired to produce a dance concert called, “Faces of Asia.” The 2003 concert was funded in part by United Arts of Central Florida and held at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center in Historic Downtown Sanford, Florida. Over 40 dancers represented eight different countries in Asia.

I have a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing, Summa Cum Laude. In 2011-2012, I will produce a 20-year RPM Dance Retrospective one woman show. My solos will take the audience through the phases of RPM: Gothic/80’s, Hip Hop/Break Dance, Techno/Black Light, Chinese Ribbon & Fan and Belly Dance.
