Massage

 

I offer professional therapeutic massage at Zero Gravity Fitness.

 

setone30 pictureI customize my client’s massage using elements of Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Thai Yoga, Shiatsu and Chakra Energy Balancing.


I am a graduate of Florida College of Natural Health (1997), and am Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) MA25773.


My continuing education includes: European Spas, Asian Massage in China and Taiwan, Lomi Lomi, Hot Stone, Reflexology, Neuromuscular and Aromatherapy.


Most recently, I taught Massage Therapy at Centura Institute in Orlando. My classes included Anatomy and Physiology, Kinesiology, Myology, Business and Ethics

and Clinical Applications.

 

I am also available to come to your location for chair or table massage.

I offer personal training and group instruction at Zero Gravity Fitness.

Yoga Style/Philosophy

Over the years, I have created my own unique style. I simplify the concepts, fusing them with my dance background. My graceful style is approachable for all levels. The focus is staying gently warm while working the core and flexibility. I like to conclude each class with Chakra meditation and massage.

Why Pilates?

Seven years ago, I discovered that Pilates dramatically improved my dance technique. Today, I continue to study and teach, using the elements of Joseph Pilates with my own style. Building inner core strength maintains my body structural alignment and fights the effects of age and gravity.

I like the simplicity of mat exercises for beginners. The Reformer Jump Board is one of my favorites for a low impact cardio workout. One of my specialties is training competitive teen Irish Dancers. Sara & Leo Acioli, the owners of Zero Gravity Fitness, are truly inspirational and supportive partners in developing my Pilates clientele.

I am excited to announce that I am an official Orlando City Girls Dancer/Chearleader for the 2011 season. The Orlando City Soccer Club is a professional United Soccer League team, playing at the Florida Citrus Bowl. Director Lisa Norred.
